> Dr. Sonali Kataria Sirohi brings a unique background to her role, with a medical graduation and over 18 years of experience in the field of Neuroscience & Autism.
> She has a medical doctor background and was previously a Consultant at AIIMS, specializing in Autism and Pediatrics.
> Dr. Sirohi has undertaken extensive professional training, including the Son-Rise Program (USA) and a Stem Cell Therapy project from the University of Melbourne (AUS).
> Her commitment to education and empowerment is evident through several Teacher Training programs, all of which have contributed to her expertise in autism and related conditions
Here is Dr. Sonali's story as a Special Parent
Dr Sonali Kataria Sirohi is a special parent of 2 young boys aged 10 and 14, her elder son Poorab, being on the severe end of the autism spectrum.
When Dr Sonali had completed her medical graduation and an MD in Neuroscience from AIIMS New Delhi, and started her professional career as a Senior Resident doctor, she went to do a course in Stem Cell Therapy from The University of Melbourne, soon after which her son was born, and was diagnosed with moderate to severe autism when he was 2 years old.
Since then, she has been deeply involved in her son’s autism journey, supporting other parents as well, through a non-profit that she started in 2014 – SUNRISE LEARNING FOUNDATION.
She is the Founder head of this special school and an Autism Specialist & Fellow In Pediatrics who believes in the concept of Neurodiversity and the untapped potential that autistics hold, and promises to unleash their abilities by providing a conducive environment for their social skill development, with acceptance & inclusion
